Aceh Selatan | Kasadar.com – Perkumpulan Persaudaraan Peulumat Aceh Selatan (PEPPAS) Jakarta dalam menyambut bulan Ramadhan 2022 M / 1443 H, mengadakan Tour dan Silaturrahmi warga PEPPAS di Puri Avia Hotel Puncak Bogor 25-27 Maret 2022.
Tour dan Silaturrahmi tersebut dihadiri oleh Pendiri, Pembina, Penasehat, Pengurus juga hampir 500 warga PEPPAS ikut serta.
Beberapa agenda yang dilaksanakan diantaranya Musabaqah Hifdhil Quran tingkat anak- anak dan dewasa, penggalangan donasi untuk penyantuan Anak yatim, pemilihan Ketua Penyelenggara Penyantunan Anak Yatim untuk Kecamatan Labuhanhaji Timur Aceh Selatan dan Jakarta serta berbagai kegiatan lainnya.
Untuk diketahui, sejak dibentuk pada tahun 1998 oleh masyarakat Peulumat, Kec Labuhanhaji Timur, Kab Aceh Selatan yang berdomisili di Jakarta, sampai saat ini PEPPAS senantiasa aktif berkiprah dalam melaksanakan kegiatan-kegiatan sosial dan keagamaan, terutama membantu untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan kemajuan Labuhanhaji Timur Aceh Selatan.
Program rutin PEPPAS selama ini antara lain, pengajian mingguan yang dilaksanakan di masing-masing cabang Jakarta, peringatan hari Besar Islam seperti Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW dan Isra’ Mi’raj, penyaluraan Zakat Fitrah, penyantunan anak yatim baik untuk warga PEPPAS yang ada di Jakarta juga untuk masyarakat Labuhanhaji Timur yang ada dikampung halaman, pulang kampung bersama juga turnamen olah raga.
Dony Ariga Rajes sebagai Ketua Umum PEPPAS dalam sambutannya mengatakan bahwa kegiatan seperti itu hampir setiap tahun diadakan, mulai sejak terbentuknya PEPPAS. Tidak hanya itu, PEPPAS juga sering meyalurkan batuan sosial kemanusian, seperti bantuan untuk korban kebakaran, meninggal dunia dan musibah-musibah lain, PEPPAS selalu ikut andil dalam memberikan support dan bantuan.
“Alhamdulillah, dalam kegitan tour dan silaturahmi tahun ini, para Donatur dan warga PEPPAS telah mengumpulkan dana kurang lebih 200 juta. InsyaAllah, nantinya dana tersebut akan dialokasikan untuk program penyantuan anak yatim warga PEPPAS di Jakarta juga untuk saudara-saudara kita di Kecamatan Labuhanhaji Timur Kab Aceh Selatan pada bulan Ramadhan tahun ini,” kata Dony.
Dony mengukapkan, hal-hal seperti itu dilakukan PEPPAS semata-mata untuk membantu kesejahteraan masyarakat Labuhan Haji Timur yang ada di Jakarta dan juga menjadi bagian untuk memajukan kampung halaman tempat kelahiran mereka yaitu Labuhanhaji Timur Aceh Selatan.
“Semoga dengan adanya program-program demikian, silaturahmi sesama warga PEPPAS di Jakarta dengan saudara-saudara kita yang berada dikampung halaman terus terbina dengan baik dan berkah,” pungkas Dony Ariga Rajes.
Pada malam terakhir acara tersebut, ditutup dengan pembagian piala kepada anak-anak juara MHQ dan perlombaan lainnya, serta diisi dengan kajian-kajian muhasabah diri dalam menghadapi bulan Ramadhan oleh para ulama yang ada dalam organisasi tersebut. (FJ)
